Smartphones, tablets, and other electronic devices sold in the European Union (EU) starting June 2025 will be required to have a sticker in the box detailing their battery and efficiency information. The move is said to be a part of the Energy Labelling Regulation commissioned by the European Parliament on April 16, aimed at facilitating consumers’ choice in favour of more sustainable and energy efficient products.
