Amazon is reportedly planning to launch a TV streaming device powered by its in-house, Linux-based Vega OS later this year, as it plans to move away from Android-based Fire OS. Amazon is said to be engaging with streaming platforms to convince them to release apps for the new Vega TV OS and is hiring developers for the Vega TV platform.
